e-Dispatch is the digital form of a goods dispatch note. Item, quantity and shipment information move into an electronic document, allowing records to be processed without relying on physical document circulation.
The solution supports integration with business software and applications. Dispatch data may originate in an ERP or connected operations system; the available interfaces determine the scope of that transfer.
Electronic dispatch notes can be retained and viewed digitally. Linking a document to its order and inventory movement makes it easier to understand an earlier shipment.
An order may leave in several deliveries. Integration needs to use the dispatched quantity rather than the full order quantity. Otherwise, a technically valid document can still misrepresent the goods that left the warehouse.
