Web application architecture
J-Series is a web-based ERP offered for installation. This differs from the T-Series approach of delivering a desktop application through a browser. Browser access and responsibility for running the server are separate matters; a web interface alone does not imply a managed cloud service.
Scope extending to budgets and projects
The family offers accounting, finance, purchasing, sales and distribution, budgeting, projects, HR, manufacturing and foreign-trade modules. A consistent project identifier provides the data structure needed to interpret sales income and purchasing expenditure against the same piece of work.
Company-specific applications
Its Java architecture supports customisation using Logo Platform Tailor and Eclipse. For additional fields or integrations, the relationship between standard records and extra information matters. Different identifiers for the same customer or material across applications are a common source of matching errors.
Banking information and reporting
Online Hesap Özeti connects bank and POS transactions to ERP, bringing together balances, transactions, commissions and value dates. J-Series also provides natural-language reporting and Excel output. Where the payment date differs from the bank value date, the report's date definition changes the cash position it presents.
Why consistent project coding matters
A purchasing expense recorded without a project identifier may appear in general accounting but be absent from project profitability. Department, cost-centre and period definitions present similar issues. Reliable reporting starts with consistent transaction records; adding a chart later cannot repair missing classification.
How T-Series, J-Series, N-Series and Cloud differ
The choice depends on deployment, manufacturing requirements and customisation, as well as business size. T-Series, J-Series, N-Series and Cloud can all cover manufacturing; the available functions depend on the selected package and modules.
